When should I RSVP by?

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire- that means a jacket and tie, dress, or fancy jumpsuit! We want you to look nice but have fun with it!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

We have a trolley to take guests from the Intercontinental Hotel to our venue. The last trolley will leave the hotel promptly at 4:45pm. Please let us know if you plan to take the trolley in your RSVP! You can also drive or Uber- there is parking available around the venue. The trolley will begin return trips to the hotel starting at 9pm with the last trolley leaving at 11:30 when the party ends!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifically includes a plus one we ask that you just bring yourself!

When should I get there?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm (CST). Salvage One will be open to the public as an antique store before our event begins. We ask that you arrive by 5pm to give yourself time to be seated before the ceremony.

Is there parking available near your venue?

Answer

If you choose to drive there is street parking available around the venue- check signage for potential cost but free parking should be plentiful.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors and air conditioned, but there is an outdoor space available to catch your breath.

Most importantly, when will we eat?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin immediately following the ceremony where there will be passed appetizers. We will head upstairs to eat dinner at 7pm.

What is the accessibility of the venue?

Answer

There are a few stairs to get into the building from the main entrance but an accessible entrance is available around the back of the building. Please let us know if you need a stairless entrance and we will get you directions to the proper door! There will be venue staff to operate the elevator during the reception.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Dancing ends at 11:30pm and the trolley will make it's last trip back to the hotel. We encourage you to live it up but we will be heading to bed!
