Welcome to the Wedding

After a week of conversation over Facebook they went on our first date on August 16th. On August 18th, Eugene wanted to know if they should make it official and of coarse McKenzy said yes! Shortly after Eugene was packing his bags to move to Oklahoma and she knew there was something telling her to follow him. McKenzy moved to Arkansas and they began their long distance journey.

They found out McKenzy was pregnant while living together in Oklahoma City. Even though they were about to go through one of the hardest things a couple could go through, with all the stress and hardships ahead, they knew they belonged together and could make it through anything. With every doctors appointment it became more real that a baby was coming. On July 8th, 2018 they met the doctors to be induced and the next day at 10:46pm their sweet baby girl welcomed the world. Nearly 3 years after they met, McKenzy was still waiting for Eugene to ask for her hand and was more than excited for it to happen right when she first held Lincoln. A three day stay in the hospital and never getting a ring she thought it would never happen and she should just be thankful for her new family and the way things were. Eugene would eventually have other plans, even though he was set on never being married.

Wanting to wait until Christmas to answer McKenzy's biggest wish, Eugene bought a ring. A week before Christmas he began to get more and more excited and just couldn't wait! While getting ready for work McKenzy was asked to spend forever by Eugene's side! with tears and laughs she said yes!
