Wayne was born in Queens, New York, after both his parents migrated to the United States from Jamaica. He moved to Kissimmee, Florida at 15 years old and worked at Disney World until he joined the Air Force in 1990. Wayne traveled the world and served over 22 years. During this time he was blessed with a daughter. Maika and son, Malikai. Wayne is a car guy and enjoys his music still DJing from time to time in his DJ room at the house. He and Shannon enjoy traveling together and making memories. Wayne is a fur dad to S’more and Cinnamon.

Shannon was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She joined the Air Force right after high school in August 1993 and traveled the world serving over 22 years. Shannon moved to Riverview, Florida in July 2015 after retiring from the Air Force and has been a civilian paralegal at MacDill Air Force Base since this time. She is an avid traveler and loves the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies sports teams. The beach is her happy place and she enjoys spending time with her fiance, Wayne and dog, S’more.

Malikai is Wayne’s son and the youngest of his children. He serves in the Air Force at McConnell AFB, Kansas as an aircraft maintainer for the KC-135.

Rebecca and Shannon have been sister friends since 1994 when they were first stationed at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. Rebecca is a special friend who stayed in touch through the years even allowing Shannon to live with her and her family after retirement until she closed on her house here in Florida.

They stayed in touch through the years and their friendship grew stronger once she moved here to the local area over 5 years ago.
