Will and McKenzie’s story began back in 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic High School. Will and McKenzie crossed paths often. One unforgettable memory came on Labor Day Weekend 2016, when McKenzie’s grandmother, lovingly known as Big Nan, shuttled Will and his friends back to the Galvin’s house in Seaside. McKenzie, only 15 at the time and without her license, remembers thinking Will was goofy, fun, and always the life of the group. Their lives drifted in different directions after high school, but fate had other plans. Fast forward to February 2025, when the two reconnected after college. Their first date at Blue Top Restaurant in Chamblee set the tone, dogs included. McKenzie’s pup Rocky and Will’s dog Snowy instantly disliked each other, but their humans had no trouble hitting it off. By the second date, just one week later, it was clear: they had found something real. They celebrated McKenzie’s birthday, Valentine’s Day, and on February 21st, Will asked McKenzie to be his girlfriend. Since then, the two have been inseparable: sharing laughter, silly moments, and the kind of everyday joy that makes even the simplest evenings together feel extraordinary. Now, surrounded by family, friends, and memories old and new, they’re ready to start forever, side by side, hand in hand.
