Wear whatever you will be most comfortable in! Our wedding is not formal, and is in the country on family land. Guests will be walking in grass to get to the seating area, so sharp heels are not recommended:)
The health and safety of our friends and family is our first priority. In order to follow Dane County's rules/regulations pertaining to COVID-19, we have limited our guest list to under 100 guests. We also are having a "brown bag meal" where guests can grab their personally wrapped meal, instead of all guests touching the same serving utensils. Also, be on the lookout for our hand sanitizer stations, we will have them spread out around the area for everyone to use to perform easy hand hygiene! The wedding is also not in an enclosed building. The ceremony is outside (weather permitting) and the dinner will be held in a shop with large garage doors opened. As long as the weather is nice anyone can come into or out of the shop as they please. One last thing- we know weddings are a perfect time to share hugs between friends and family. The bride and groom will not hug you, UNLESS you initiate the hug!
Due to limited space and gathering restrictions, we are asking for no children to attend the wedding. We love each and every one of your children and wish they could be a part of our celebration however it is simply not feasible right now.
We completely understand. This summer is full of unknowns. Not a single one of our wedding guests are expected to put their lives on hold to wait for our new wedding date, and we understand everyone has busy lives. We would love to see you and celebrate with you on September 12th, however if you cannot make it due to prior circumstances, no hard feelings! We also know everyone is taking their own precautions to keep themselves and families safe during this pandemic, and we respect everyone's decisions on whether to join us on our day or not. If someone is not comfortable coming to a larger gathering, we understand and will be excited to see you the next time it is possible to safely do so!
