We're Getting Married!

Sometime in the Spring of 2016 - Matthew and McKenzie meet for the first time. Later becoming friends within a larger group of people. 2016-2018 - Matthew and McKenzie get to know each other better while hanging out in group settings. June, 2018 - Matthew leaves for basic training for the U.S. Air Force. 2019 and 2020 - Matthew and McKenzie hang out as friends whenever Matthew is able to visit Idaho from the Air Force. April 1, 2020 - McKenzie receives a letter from Matthew explaining his feelings for her and desire to date her. April 2, 2020 - McKenzie calls Matthew back with a response. A "Yeah, let's try it" April 2, 2020 - December 14, 2020 - Matthew and McKenzie talk and get to know each other better, while living in different states and/or different countries while Matthew was deployed in Qatar. December 14, 2020 - Matthew flies to Boise, and they see each other in person for the first time as a dating couple. January 3, 2021 - Matthew leaves for Kansas after spending the entire Christmas season with McKenzie and family. By this point Matthew and McKenzie know that they want to marry one another. February 18 -22, 2021 - McKenzie, Kaitlynn, and Wyatt, fly out to Wichita, Kansas for a visit. March 20, 2021 - Matthew flies back out to Idaho for spring break March 26, 2021 - Matthew proposes at the top of Multnomah Falls in Oregon, while coming back from a short trip to the coast. McKenzie's family surprised her at the bottom to celebrate. June 7, 2021 - Matthew calls McKenzie with news of orders to move to Okinawa, Japan for 4 years in November!
