Nantucket is a finicky little island 30 miles out to sea. You will need to take a boat or a plane to get here! Please be mindful of weather as the fast ferry will not run if the wind is more than 25 mph, but we hope this won't be an issue!

Travel Note

Boats

Both the Hyline (www.hylincruises.com) and the Steamship Authority (www.steamshipauthority.com) ferries depart Hyannis to Nantucket Harbor. You can choose to take the fast ferry (1 hour and recommended) or traditional ferry (2.5 hours). We highly recommend ferry reservations in advanced! Both ferries will drop you right in town. Parking close to the ferries is available. The Steamship Authority offers shuttles to off-site lots that are typically less expensive, but parking nearby in the daily rate lots is very convenient.

Travel Note

Flights

There are seasonal flights via JetBlue, American, Delta, and United depending on where you are traveling from. Additionally, CapeAir is regularly available from Boston or Hyannis which is are small regional planes. The Nantucket Airport (ACK) is located in the center of the island but cabs into town are readily available. JetBlue Offers multiple flights daily from Boston, JFK and Westchester to Nantucket. (www.jetblue.com) Delta Offers multiple flights daily from New York (LGA and JFK) to Nantucket. (www.delta.com) American Offers multiple flights daily from Boston, NYC, and DCA to Nantucket. (www.aa.com) United Airlines Offers flights daily from Austin, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco to Nantucket. (www.united.com)
