Funny story...we actually went to the same high school and had never crossed paths until 2 weeks before Dylan was about to graduate. On May 6th, 2019, I was in the only class I had at the high school campus at the time, Honors Algebra 2. The intercom came on and I was called down to the front office. I remember walking down the atrium steps and seeing Dylan peeking through the window of the double doors from the front office. I walked in and there stood Dylan, the campus police officer, Buddy, and the two office ladies. Buddy made the joke that I had hit Dylan's truck and said something along the lines of, "You took that turn too fast and hit his truck." I replied with, "No I didn't!" All while Dylan stood behind him and was shaking his head "NO!" Dylan then spoke up and said "I hit your car." My heart actually sunk in my chest because this day had already started off bad. Long story short, we ended up exchanging numbers...more like Dylan gave me his number and said we would be in contact since neither of us wanted to go through insurance. Well day went on, I get home and am so nervous to text him because like what just happened. I ended up texted him later on that day and we talked the rest of that night. We continued talking and he eventually asked me to go out. I ended up thinking this "going out" was just as friends, which found out later it was definitely meant as a date. We ended up going on the date to LakePoint Station, and the rest is history!
