Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

For guests staying at The Red Jacket Resort, shuttle buses will be provided from the Red Jacket to Wychmere Beach Club and back. Buses will depart Red Jacket at 2:30 PM to take guests to the venue. Return buses will depart Wychmere at 10:00 PM to bring guests back to Red Jacket. We recommend arriving at the pickup location a few minutes early to ensure a smooth departure!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Seating begins at 3:00 PM. Please arrive no later than 3:20 PM.

What is the attire?

Answer

Formal Attire Requested. Men are welcome to wear suits with a shirt and tie; lighter or tan suits are perfectly acceptable. Women may choose anything from evening gowns to dressy cocktail attire. Please refrain from wearing white or ivory. The ceremony will take place on Wychmere’s private beach, so please plan your footwear accordingly. Feel free to remove your shoes during the ceremony if you prefer.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is plenty of onsite parking at Wychmere Beach Club.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

July on the Cape is typically warm but breezy and slightly cooler at night. Our ceremony is outdoors on the beach. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony and cocktail hour will also take place indoors in the Ocean Room, where our reception is held.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Invitations will be sent in March 2025. Once you receive your formal invitation please respond by May 1st, 2025.

Can I bring a plus-one?

While we would love to celebrate our wedding day with everyone, Cape Cod is small and quaint and our seated reception area at Wychmere Beach Club just is not large enough! All invited guests are named on the invitation. We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding.
