Our story started with a little bit of curiosity and a lot of good timing. McKenzie first heard about Brance from her roommate, Cara, who had a “cowboy” in her chemistry class. Thinking nothing of it, McKenzie decided to follow him on Instagram and he reciprocated. A few months later, Brance spotted McKenzie at an OSU softball game and decided he wanted to meet her in real life. He reached out to Cara to help set up their first date, and the rest is history. What started with social media, quickly turned into a relationship filled with laughter, concerts, antique store shopping, amazing adventures and unforgettable memories. After Brance graduated from OSU in the Spring of 2025, they faced their biggest challenge, long-distance. He was off to cowboy in Florida while McKenzie played in the mountains of Colorado. While the distance brought new opportunities and adventures it also gave them the realization that they did not want to do life apart. Two hours after McKenzie graduated from OSU, Brance proposed. We cannot wait to celebrate this day with you, and thank you for being a part of us and our story!
