We're getting married!

Charlie wanted the moment to be special but he wasn't sure where it should happen. Charlie considered many options. He thought about having one of Katie's students do it but he was afraid the ring would end up in play dough. He considered the location of their first date, but breaking into a now closed down bar seemed like trespassing. Then one Friday evening after plans had been cancelled, Charlie found himself sitting next to Katie around a fire on a perfectly starry night. He thought to himself, "this is it." He excused himself under the guise of running to the bathroom and retrieved the ring. Once back together around the fire, Charlie got down on one knee and asked Katie, "will you marry me?" After a tearful, happy moment, they realized it was too dark outside to see the ring Charlie had chosen for Katie. In proper 2019 style, Katie's first view of her forever ring was with a smart phone flashlight.
