Haley & Demetri met on October 19, 2018 at a mutual friend's wedding in Flowood, MS. They had a great night celebrating with great conversation, dancing, and lots of fun. The next day, Demetri asked Haley on their first date to Longhorn Steak House and they've been inseparable since. Demetri was born and raised in Jackson, MS and Haley was born and raised in Saint Louis, MO. They started off long distance with a lot of phone calls, texts, face time, and the most fun part...TRAVELING. Within the first year of dating they'd already traveled to Memphis, Hattiesburg, Jackson, Saint Louis, New Orleans, Gulf Shores, Atlanta, Chicago, and Gatlinburg. Today, Demetri works as a Travel Nurse and Haley as a Pharmacist. They live in Saint Louis, enjoying work, quality time, hanging with friends, and caring for their fur babies (Apollo & Charlie Pickles). After the wedding, the couple looks forward to buying their first home together and to one day grow their beautiful family.

Demetri planned a surprise proposal on Haley's 28th birthday! Knowing that she was only expecting to have a nice birthday dinner with her close friends and family, he arranged for his parents and the couple who's wedding they met at to attend. The proposal was beautiful, planned and executed to perfection. You could sure feel the love in the air. Plus the engagement ring ICE SCULPTURE left everyone amazed.
