Wedding Party

McKenzie

Bride

McKenzie knew she was in trouble the moment she met Bryant… and then met his dog, Bodie, who pretty much sealed the deal. Before long, she convinced Bryant to follow her to Washington for her first physical therapy job out of grad school. There, they kayaked, hiked, mushroom-hunted, fished, boated, and generally lived their best Pacific Northwest life—while she fell even more madly in love. These days, McKenzie is thrilled to be back in Texas, close to family, friends, and good tacos. But nothing beats watching their daughter grow…and grow…and grow.

Bryant

Groom

Bryant is a lifelong learner with a bachelor’s and master’s in psychology, who eventually followed his curiosity into the world of tech. He balances his love of learning with an even deeper love for the outdoors—whether he’s hunting, fishing, hiking, or kayaking. Anyone who’s spent time outside with him knows it’s never just about getting from point A to point B; for Bryant, the magic is always in the journey. He truly embodies the idea of stopping to smell the roses. His appreciation for life’s small moments has made him a wonderful father, and his big dreams for the future have made him an incredible life partner.

Nellie Mae

Flower Child

Get ready to be charmed by this 2‑year‑old’s iconic catchphrases like “I’m gonna freak out, man!” and “My hold it!” plus the most adorable little dance moves you’ve ever seen. Loved from Oregon to Texas, she’s an animal‑adoring sweetheart who wants to pet every dog she sees.

Reverend Aunt Hannah

Officiant

Hannah, the groom’s sister and our wonderful officiant, will likely bring some quirky charm to the ceremony. Whether she’s pulling off an effortless outfit or crafting the perfect campaign, Hannah brings style, smarts, and a warm, unforgettable presence to everything she does—including guiding us into married life.

Jonnie a.k.a. Meme

Mother of the Bride

Jonnie is McKenzie’s mom and Nellie’s beloved Meme. A true boss in her administrative role at a hospital in Bend, Oregon, she brings hard work, intelligence, and heart to whatever she sets her mind to. She is caring, warm, and gives the best hugs, so line up!

Butch a.k.a. Grandpa

Father of the Bride

Butch is enjoying life in “God’s country” after moving his contracting business from Salem to Sisters, Oregon. These days he’s busy doting on his new puppy, Jo Jo, and his new granddaughter, Nellie. He’s living his best life in Central Oregon, and we’re so glad he made the trek to Texas to celebrate with us.

Diane a.k.a. Yaya

Mother of the Groom

Diane is a partially retired nurse with deep roots in Fredericksburg, Texas, where her German family settled generations ago. A devoted fan of the Chicago Bears, she brings that same wholehearted spirit to the people she loves most—her children and her granddaughter, who absolutely light up her world.

Dennis a.k.a. Opa

Father of the Groom

Get ready for Dennis to chat your ear off in the best way. A former general contractor now enjoying ranch life in retirement, he’s easygoing, quick to laugh, and always up for a good time. Light-hearted, fun, and usually found with a light beer in hand, Dennis is sure to make you feel right at home.

Uncle Devon

Brother of the Bride

Devon is the guy who can fix just about anything with wheels. Whether it’s motorcycles, cars, bikes, or trucks, he’s happiest with tools in his hands and a new project to dive into. With a mechanical mind and a talent for welding, he’s always creating, repairing, or improving something. Beyond all the gears and grease, he’s devoted to his girlfriend and completely smitten with his niece, Nellie, whose laughter is his favorite sound.

Uncle Corbin

Brother of the Bride

Corbin is an artist with a brilliantly imaginative mind and one of the most empathetic people you’ll ever meet. He crafts unforgettable cocktails, loves traveling and exploring new places, and has a natural way of bringing people together—especially family. He’s also quickly becoming one of his niece’s favorite people, despite still making up for that one time he scared her when she wasn't ready.
