Let's Celebrate!

Trentell and I went to the same middle school but didn’t meet until the summer before our senior year of high school. We met at youth group where Trentell first came to know Christ. Trentell talked to his mentor about me, and six months later (down to the day) he asked me to date him. We started dating on August 15, 2016 and are so excited to continue our path together.

Trentell told me we were going on a date. He blindfolded me and then drove around aimlessly to throw me off. We ended up at the church where we met which had a red carpet with our friends’ bibles each including verses; they have been praying over us. We read each verse and prayed together. We walked down the stairs to the youth room where we had spent so much time together. Trentell shared his verse and some of the memories that happened in that room. I closed my eyes again and walked into the room. I opened my eyes to see Trentell kneeling. I said yes and suddenly we were engaged! Our friends then ran into the room and embraced us. We are excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in December!
