Toward the end of 2020 and the turn of the year as we were looking forward to the wedding in March, Mckenzi ran into some medical issues that required very evasive spinal surgery that requires a long recovery period that overlapped with the wedding date. As health and wellness is always our priority we chose to postpone yet again so that this can be the perfect day without any large worries surrounding the wellness and comfortability of ourselves and our guests. We will be sending out yet another change the date and we appreciate all of the patience from our loved ones as we work through this recovery period for kinzi.
Yes! We eloped March 27,2019 for the sake of finances and ease in relation to schooling and the extreme cost of living that it posed. We are happier than ever to be bound together until death, it just happened earlier than we had originally planned, but was still part of the plan.
The point of the reception is to celebrate with our loved ones the fact that we are happy, healthy, and excited to have commit to each other forever. The ceremony is also a chance for us to stand before God and family and exchange our vows.
Unfortunately we are not financially capable of housing and transporting our loved ones to us. We have provided a list of very cost effective options for lodging and travel. We do not want money to be a stress! We understand more than ever if you are unable to attend due to the cost. We love you all so much and are just happy and thankful that you wanted to spend our day with us!
Brunch is TBD, but we don’t believe a rehearsal dinner is necessary!
Other than the reception and ceremony, there won’t be any “official” events planned. We have provided a list of super fun activities and attractions of the Hastings area to keep you busy should you arrive with too much time on your hands!
