Is there parking for the reception?

Please note that there is no direct parking on the property. Street parking is available along Commerce Street, Ferdinand Street, or Burnett Street. Guests are able to park in the St.Francisville Bank and Magnolia Cafe’s parking lots located on Commerce Street, just a short walk to The Mallory. The Mallory is located on 5747 Commerce Street in St.Francisville, LA, directly behind The Corbel. Guests will find the venue’s entry by walking through our green space located in between Big River and The Corbel. Guests that have accessible needs are welcomed to be dropped off in front of The Mallory, located between Barlow and The Corbel. If you would prefer to not drive: The Town of St. Francisville operates a free 15-passenger trolley that offers complimentary rides to select destinations throughout town from Thursday to Sunday until 9 p.m. Call or text 225-721-7060 for pick-up and drop-off information.

This is an adults only wedding.

Why are some people invited to the ceremony and others only invited to the reception?

Answer

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church can only seat around 200 people. We have so many friends and family that we wanted to invite, but unfortunately, not everyone will be able to fit into the church. However, if anyone is really wanting to attend the ceremony, the church has a hall right next door. The hall has a TV that will be showing the ceremony with volume and everything.
