On our eight-month anniversary, Vann told me he was taking me to one of our favorite places, David Grisanti’s on the Collierville Square, but on the way, he stopped at Robbins Halle Nature Preserve. This place holds a very special place in our hearts. It was where we went on our third date, and it has been meaningful to us ever since. As we walked along the boardwalk and watched the sun begin to set, Vann got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him and of course I said yes!
