Growing up, we shared a room. I think that explains a lot. I just hope she forgives me for getting a jolly rancher stuck to her dresser. Even more, she has always been a voice of reason in my life. We don't choose all our family, but I would choose her over again.

It was the bleakest time... freshman year of high school! We sat on opposite sides of the room in honors Alg/Geometry and one day I asked my teacher to sit on the other side (she seemed worth knowing). We produced the BEST mathematical conditional statement presentation (it involved a panda- it was pretty cool). One of the best decisions to date, because I was so right! Knowing Shelby is knowing your back is always covered and your belly full from laughter (or Taco Bell).
