It’s happening!!!

We first met at Mointain View High School during our sophomore year, he was the cool guy with the Suburu and she was the artsy girl that hung out in the ceramics room. We started talking on Facebook and hanging out our senior year. That spring we started dated and we’ve been together ever since!

Over the past 9 years Niko and McKenna have bonded over liking the same T.V shows like Workaholics, The Office, Parks and Recreation, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. They share the same taste in food and music, pretty much anything and everything. They both love boating and any water sports like wakeboarding and surfing. During the fall and winter, they reserve their Sundays for watching football with family and friends. However, their biggest bond has been traveling together. Whether it's a couple hour drive to Tacoma, or a flight to Independence, OR for brunch, or a spontaneous weekend trip to California, or a first class flight to Vegas, they enjoy every second together. Niko and McKenna ~conveniently~ went to the same college at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. Where they enjoyed going to the bars on $1 beer night, going to Yakima for the day, hanging with friends, campfires, off roading, bbqing, going to the pond, $5 long island iced teas at Starlight, eating brunch at the Buzz Inn, hiking, eating burgers at Campus-U-Totem, nature walks along the Yakima river, CWU football games, late night at the SURC, pizza at Brooklyns Pizzeria, dancing at 301, taco Thursdays at Blue Rock, themed parties, and everything else in between. After graduating from college in 2017, and staying an extra year in Ellensburg, Niko and McKenna moved back to Vancouver in 2018 where Niko worked at Aero Maintenance as a flight instructor and McKenna worked at an art gallery, Aurora Gallery, as a gallery assistant. They established their lives in Vancouver, hanging out with friends and family, and continued to work towards their careers. Right now Niko works at Horizon Air as a First Officer Pilot and Instructor for the Q400. McKenna works at Effective Web Solutions, a digital marketing agency where she is a Social Media Specialist. These last couple of years they have been traveling, quarantining, getting new jobs, doing a little bit of school, attending every social event possible, and getting married in Las Vegas!
