While not formally engaged at this time, we are planning to elope on a small family vacation to Ireland in April! However, we still want to celebrate with our family and friends, hence this happily ever after party!! Maybe not traditional, but this feels right for us.

Answer

We have decided that an intimate ceremony is what is best for us. We both wanted to have wedding pictures taken in Ireland, so it only makes sense that we elope there while on our family vacation!! Side note: we really did not want the traditional ceremony of reading our vows in front of everyone, cake cutting, first dance, etc. We just wanted a cocktail party where everyone can meet up, hang out, and enjoy one another's company- so that's what we're doing!

Yes, all invitations include a plus one :) please just let us know if anything changes.

Cocktail attire! Nothing too fancy, we just want everyone to look nice and feel comfortable, so that we can all best enjoy ourselves.

Answer

No, since we are hosting the party in center city, we are opting not to do a room block. There is a wide selection of hotels and air bnbs at varying price ranges in the area, so guests can choose the accommodation best suited for them. We have included some hotel recommendations that are close to the venue under the "travel" tab.

Yes, we will have passed apps, food displays, and food stations

Yes, we will have both vegetarian and gluten free food items for our guests

No, we will not have a professional photographer. We will however have polaroids and disposable cameras set up around the venue so we can all capture the life of the party together!
