It will be best to arrive by 3:40 to accommodate parking and walking to the ceremony location.

Parking?

Answer

Parking will be on site, continue up the driveway past the white house. You may walk to the ceremony, or there will be an option for handicap accessible parking

Are the ceremony & reception outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be outdoors with a tent for the reception in case of rain

Can I take photos / videos?

Answer

We would love for you to capture as many photos as you would like during cocktail hour and the reception, but please refrain from photography during the ceremony! We’ve hired a wonderful photographer for those meaningful photos.

What is the wedding venue?

Answer

The venue is a working farm. Please wear shoes you’re able to walk in, there is no pavement.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Beer and wine will be provided. This is a private residence with neighbors in the distance, we ask you keep your drinking to a manageable amount, and of course, have a designated driver.

Things to do around Sparta?

Answer

1. Calfkiller brewery - only 2 doors down from the Rechsteiner’s property. Jeff claims it is the only beer comparable to Oregon! Stop in prior to the wedding and grab a drink. 2. Farmers Storehouse - amazing baking supply store and bakery. Go early for a healthy snack and check out the organic flour/ grains that have helped McKenna heal over the past 2 years. 3. Jongee’s - local boutique 4. Amazing waterfall hikes. Check out the app all trails and ask us for recommendations near your stay! 5. Marioochi’s pizza - delicious 6. Fil-Thai - tasty Thai food 7. There is a good coffee shop, as well as cheese and charcuterie on the square downtown. Note- almost nothing local to Sparta will be open on Sunday. 🙏
