We're getting married!

Brevon and Mckenna were just kids when a very simple moment turned into something neither of them could have imagined. On a summer evening, Brevon casually drove by and waved as Mckenna was outside shooting baskets in her driveway. For Mckenna who already had the biggest crush on Brevon, this felt like a moment frozen in time. Not long after this, Brevon and Mckenna spent time together for the first time at a family friend's house. It was instantly clear that there was something very special between the two of them, the kind of connection you cannot put into words. Their high school years seemed to fly by. Days soon turned into years, and before they knew it, they had grown up side by side, through countless sporting events, late-night conversations, long distance, and seasons that tested them in ways they never could have expected. They learned how to support one another, how to grow together, and most importantly how to love each other through change. No matter the challenge they were faced with, they always chose each other. After eight years together, Brevon asked Mckenna to marry him. Mckenna had planned a photoshoot for the two of them, but never could have imagined what they day would turn into. They traveled to Huntington Beach where Brevon led her to a spot that was tucked away from the rest of the beach. It was the most perfect spot—quiet, intimate, and completely their own. Brevon got down on one knee and it was the easiest "YES" of Mckenna's life. After nearly a decade of loving each other, the young kids whose love started with a simple wave are preparing to spend the rest of their lives together. They have grown up together, shaped each other, and stood by each other through many seasons of life. They are endlessly grateful for every step that has led them here and feel incredibly blessed to have grown up together, and now to grow old together.
