Although they went to the same college (and even lived on the same floor one year) McKenna and Brandon's story did not intertwine until they matched on Bumble in the winter of 2019. After a lot of texting (and the hints McKenna sent that she wanted Brandon to ask her out) they finally went on their first date to get sushi. He asked her to be his girlfriend a week later.

On an early March morning while in Colorado, Brandon took McKenna on a morning walk. He decided to get a little adventurous and wanted to go up an icy hill with no trail and no rails. While McKenna feared and complained to Brandon the entire time he was insistent! Once they finally reached the top and looked at the beautiful sight before them, Brandon asked McKenna what her favorite part of the trip had been so far. When she asked in return, Brandon said "This moment". And the rest is history!
