Our story starts wayyyyyyyyyy back in 2016. We met almost 10 years ago in a public speaking class at Orange Coast Community College (OCC, Go Pirates!). Can you imagine giving a speech in front of a whole class of people, let alone your crush?! Our first speeches were what had us hooked on each other: Kenna shared a riveting tale about her escapades in New York City during an 8th-grade class trip, while Bradley gave a heartfelt speech about growing closer to his younger sister while working together at Lamppost Pizza. He was drawn to Kenna’s wild, adventurous side, and she was charmed by the sentimental, blue-eyed boy! About a month later, we were going on our first date which included boba and a walk in the park. We like to say that our first date perfectly describes our relationship, because these past 10 years since that day have truly been a walk in the park🖤 Over the years, we’ve shared countless adventures and memories together (take a peek at our gallery for just a few!). From 24-hour road trips to late-night stargazing in the Rocky mountains to sitting on the couch all weekend watching our favorite movies and TV shows, our love has only grown stronger with each passing moment❤️‍🔥 Some of Kenna’s favorite memories were nights out with her friends that ended with Bradley driving all the girls (9 some nights, to be exact) home in his old ’93 Ford pickup truck. She knew he was the one when he didn’t bat an eye as the girls sang Pitbull at the top of their lungs and happily agreed to drive them to both Taco Bell and Del Taco in a single night. One of Bradley’s favorite memories is when Kenna was interning at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT and on one of her off days, they made an effort to wake up early and drive up to Zion National Park to hike the Narrows. He looks back fondly on this memory because on that day, he remembers her being full of excitement and adventure. It was a perfect day and the hike itself was spectacular! He was a little worried when their shoes and feet started to become soaking wet, but being in it together made the worry fade away and a memory they laugh about now. Her ability to have fun despite the challenges solidified his love for her that day. As we sit here writing this, we reflect on how this love that we’ve built is focused on our undying friendship and loyalty to one another while having the exact right amount of laughter each day. If we had to sum up our relationship with a song, we’d pick Still Into You by Paramore, because it captures our love story perfectly: Through every road trip, late-night laugh, and quiet moment, we’re still as drawn to each other now as we were the day we met. Our love has grown, but the spark has never faded✨ We are beyond excited to take this next step together and can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you!
