FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to space and planning, invitations are limited to those listed on your envelope. If you received a “+1,” it will appear on your invitation and RSVP.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we adore your kids, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: All Black. We request all guests to dress in black for the Black wedding. For the Ladies: Please feel free to choose any style that makes you feel elegant—whether that is a classic cocktail dress, a chic midi, a fun jumpsuit, or a sharp suit. You are welcome to wear a floor-length gown if you love the drama, but it is certainly not required—dressy separates or a polished skirt and blouse are also perfect. For the Gentlemen: We’d love to see you in a black suit (tuxedos are welcome but not required), paired with either a white or black dress shirt. If you prefer a more relaxed look, you are welcome to skip the suit jacket and wear black dress slacks with a long sleeved black button-down shirt. Whether you go for a classic tie or a more modern open-collar look, we just ask that your overall attire stays within our all-black theme.

Question

What’s the best way to get to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho from Spokane (GEG) airport?

Answer

The nearest airport is the Spokane International Airport (GEG). From there, it’s about a 45-50 minute drive to downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - directly East on I-90. Rental cars, Uber/Lyft, and local shuttles are available.

Question

Do I need to stay at the CDA Resort?

Answer

Not at all! While the Resort is our primary transportation hub to the venue, you are welcome to stay wherever you feel most comfortable. There are several great local hotels nearby (check out the Travel and Stay tab). Ubers and Lyfts are very accessible in the downtown area, making it easy to catch a quick ride to the Resort in time for transportation.

Question

Will transportation be provided to the Venue?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have transportation between the Coeur d'Alene Resort downtown and the wedding venue before and after the celebration. You can drive to the venue itself, but this is discouraged as we want everyone to have a fun night ;)

Question

How do I get to the Day-After Luau on Saturday?

Answer

The party is located in Rockford Bay, Lake Coeur d'Alene - just a 25-minute drive Southwest of Downtown CDA. Feel free to drive to the party as there is ample parking at the residence. However, if you want to continue to party with drinks, Ubers/Lyft can also be requested.

Question

What’s the weather like?

Answer

We are so looking forward to celebrating under the North Idaho stars! Late September in Coeur d'Alene typically brings beautiful, clear days with highs around 70°F. However, once the sun sets over the lake, temperatures can drop quickly into the 40s. If you get chilly easily, we recommend bringing a jacket, wrap, or light layer to stay cozy during our outdoor ceremony and evening festivities.
