The finest rasta pasta restaurant you could ever hope for. We have always loved this place, and make a point to revisit every time we're in Asheville. Anna's pick: the Meschach, add gouda Caleb's pick: Raggy Road, extra spicy, no "Natty" on the Natty Bread

Wonderful little cocktail bar, excellent drinks and a cozy atmosphere complete with a board game library.
Southern Highland Craft Guild, Folk Art Center
Located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is a lovely museum devoted to Anna's favorite thing in the world: craft time!
Horse + Hero
Art gallery with more local art. Great place to get a souvenir!
Dobra Tea West
Very high quality tea service, this played an integral part in Caleb's development as a total tea head. Wear socks if you'd like to get a low table in the back, no shoes allowed!
Wedge Brewing Company
Local brewery with a large, sunny patio. Free peanuts and lots of great dog-watching.
French Broad Chocolate Lounge
It was always a great date night when we would split tiny nibbles of $3 chocolate truffles on a meager college budget. Used to be in a beautiful old brick building, but the new location is excellent as well.

Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack
Our first date spot! Caleb ordered super spicy and Anna watched him sweat. This is your standard Nashville Hot Chicken-style establishment.
Woolworth Walk
Gallery full of local artisans and an old-fashioned soda counter. Get the BLT! Anna worked here in college.
