What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend to plan on arriving AT LEAST 15 minutes before the ceremony start time. This gives you ample time to park and extra time for traffic delays (Atlanta has a lot of traffic, plan accordingly). Any guests that arrive after the ceremony has started will not be allowed into the venue until the ceremony has completed.

What do I wear?

Answer

This is black tie optional event with ALL guests wearing the color BLACK only. We want you to look and feel your best, use this as a night to dress up! Long dresses recommended for women. Black suit with white undershirt okay for men. Please no flip flops, jeans, t-shirts, shorts.

The wedding is at The Oakley on the Lake, 2475 Pemmican Run, Gainesville, GA 30504.

Where can I stay?

Answer

We are currently working on a hotel block for accommodating guests. If you are wanting to book now, we recommending staying near downtown Gainesville as there are a lot of activities and sites to see there to keep you busy around the time of the wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

All guests are specified by name on invitations. We apologize that we are unable to accommodate any additional guests.

Are children invited?

Answer

If your children are invited your invitation will state "The _______ Family". If your invitation states just your and/or your partners name we are unable to accommodate your children at this time.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding consists of an outdoor ceremony under a pavilion and an indoor reception with access to the green space outside. (Grass is artificial so no heels sinking here.)

Where can I park?

Answer

The venue has ample parking, but due to the large number of guests attending, we recommend to car pool or Uber/Lyft if possible. There will be an open bar and we are unable to leave any vehicles at the venue overnight, please plan accordingly.

Whats the food like?

Answer

This event will be a buffet style meal for you to choose whatever food you are feeling the night of. No meal requests required. Please contact Ryan or McKayla if you have any specific food allergies.

Can I take pictures with my phone?

Answer

Our ceremony is cell phone free to avoid interference with our well paid photographers. You are welcome to take photos at all other times.
