Our Story We met junior year of high school and instantly became friends, the kind who spent way too much time laughing, hanging out, and making memories without realizing we were basically writing the first chapters of our love story. After graduation, that friendship turned into something more. December 2018, we made it official, and since then, it’s been all the adventures, late-night talks, and little moments that make life better when you’re with your favorite person.

August 10, 2024 started out as a girls’ day at the beach for McKayla. Parker was “at work,” so she wasn’t suspicious at all. She was at home getting ready with her friends, completely unsuspecting, while Parker was at the beach working out all the logistics for the proposal. His original spot kept getting messed up, so he had to redirect a couple of times, but somehow, he pulled it all together. Once everything was ready, McKayla made her way to the grassy green area overlooking the ocean. Parker was waiting there, ring in hand. Definitely not at work. He asked. She said yes. Then our family and friends came running out from the side and then we celebrated at our favorite mexican restaurant Coyote Grill. Pretty sure Parker blacked out from nerves, and McKayla blacked out from excitement, but somehow, we still remember saying yes!
