Maid of Honor
Alexis and I met essentially in middle school, but did not become the best of friends we are now until high school. Our friendship is built on a lot of tattoos, starbucks, and God. We've gotten to grow up together and be beside one another as we've ventured into our adult lives. I had the honor of being Alexis' MOH for her wedding in October of 2021. Now she gets to be mine!
Bridesmaid
Sydney and I met either at Mini Adventures (daycare) or Sarah's Studio of Dance. We can't remember which was first, but we think it was daycare. That being said, Sydney and I were friends as tiny little humans and ended up going to different schools. It wasn't until high school that we reconnected because of cheerleading! Syd has been a major part of my life since high school and I am so honored to have her take on this role for my big day!
Bridesmaid
Cheyenne and I met thanks to the wrath that is nursing school. Day 1 we just kind of picked each other and never stopped. 3 years later and she is one of my closest friends who shares so many similarities as me, it's uncanny. We've been there for each other through some of the HARDEST times of our lives as well as most exciting.
Bridesmaid
Paige and I met thanks to a mutual friend in high school but actually never connected until we started working at the same hospital on the same unit. Paige and I have a mutual love for Harry Styles, Cinnabon, Despicable Me, and talking like complete idiots to each other (even in public). I never thought a little dingy med-surg unit would bring me one of my best friends.
Bridesmaid
Maddy entered my life thanks to my brother Cainen. She has become like a sister to me truly. I love having a built in best friend it feels like. Madalynn is an amazing baker and also making our wedding cakes! We have shared many family dinners, game nights, and laughs together. She is truly a part of my family.
Bridesmaid
I met Megan via mutual friends and by following her on Instagram. When I worked at Hen House, she came through my line once and I complimented her. From there we just decided to be friends and the rest is history. She's been one of my longest friends and one I call a ride or die. We may not see each other often but when we do it's as if nothing has changed.
Bridesmaid
Alex and I became friends in middle school and by high school we were attached at the hip. We finagled our counselor into giving us the same exact schedule our freshmen year of high school- all 8 classes, spending 8 hours a day, 5 days a week together. We also tried out cheerleading together. Alex and I have remained friends all this time and bond through anxiety and nursing.
Bridesmaid
Sam (aka Friend)- this is all we call each other, met thanks to me landing my dream job in the NICU. About a year went by before we actually became friends, because I always thought she looked mean, so I never talked to her. Then one night I bit the gun because she had horses and I grew up riding. We have talked nonstop ever since that night. Now we get to take part in each other's special days!
Best Man
Demaijah and I met in the 4th graded at the Leavenworth skating rink. At first we resented each other and about had a fight. We quickly settled our differences and became friends through football, many nights at each other's houses, and video games. Demaijah has been there for me through everything positive and negative in my life and has never left my side.
Groomsman
Tyler and I met in the 9th grade, he was this funny and funny-looking kid that I just connected with. Tyler always has me laughing and always has my back whether I am right or wrong. Tyler is always a person I can count on even if it is a last minute 12 hour drive to go get me a motorcycle.
Groomsman
William is my big brother and is someone who has always been there for me. He has always given me advice or weird facts- as he is a man of random facts. He is very intelligent and I'm lucky to have someone like him to guide me through life.
Groomsman
I don't even know. where to start or what to say about David, as I could say so many things. In short, David is my brother and I have known him as long as I've been alive. We spent many summers together learning from each other, growing up together, and getting to experience one another become a man.
Groomsman
Dalton and I became friends in 4th grade. We grew up together and he is someone I've always felt close to. We had many sleepovers, football games, and video games that quickly made us great friends.
Groomsman
Dalton is also someone who recently came into my life on the account of McKayla. Man when I tell you he is someone I've found the fastest and closest connection to in a long time. Dalton and I share a lot of similarities and he's just deep down a great soul.
Groomsman
Jaxon was my best friend through most of high school. We spent many nights driving around being stupid teenagers, crashing at each others houses, and going on vacations together. Jaxon holds some of my favorite memories in life and I wouldn't want to do this without him.
Groomsman
Charles is the best bonus brother I could ever ask for. Charles came into my life when I was 6 years old. I spent many times staying at his house playing video games, exploring the woods, and going hunting. He is someone who made me tough, taught me how to work on cars, and always someone I can count on.
Groomsman
Cainen recently came into my life as he is McKayla's brother. Cainen and I quickly became close as we share many similarities. We both have a love for music, cars, and more cars.
Mother of the Bride
Stephanie is the mother of the bride and also practically the father. My mom is my best friend and such a vital part of my life. I share so many laughs, tears, and sarcasm with her. McKayla is being walked down the aisle by her mother, Stephanie.
Mother of the Groom
Melinda is the mother of the groom. My mom is a one of a kind and my greatest friend. I've spent so much time learning from her and laughing with her. My mother will be escorting me down the aisle.
Father of the Groom
Michael is the father of the groom. My dad is a goofy, never met a stranger, talking machine. He's always there when I need advice and never fails to make sure I'm on his mind from miles away.
Officiant
I (McKayla) met Erica my junior year of high school after attending YoungLife. It was an instant connection. Erica has been a pivotal part of my spiritual journey and even got to help baptize me. She has gone out of her way to help me through some tough times with anxiety, help Nick and I with some groceries in a time of need, and cared for both of us. I personally couldn't have thought of anyone better to marry us and Nick agreed once he met her. This is her first wedding and it makes me so happy we get to create this memory for her!
Honor Attendant
My (McKayla's) late grandma, my hero, the calm in my storm, the peace of the family. Cathy fought breast cancer for many years and even went into remission for a period. Unfortunately the battle of cancer took over in 2020 and she passed in March at the ripe age of 60. Cathy was a hero to all and the most determined woman I've ever met. 02/27/1960-03/20/2020
