We met at our church's youth group back in early high school.  Both of us were into music and worship when we met, so obviously that sparked something.  We both continued to be involved in our church's worship ministry during and after high school.  After going our separate ways for a bit, we rekindled our friendship summer of 2018 and the rest is history.
