Our story isn’t like everyone else’s. We went to different high schools and were both in difficult relationships before finding each other. To this day, we still aren’t exactly sure how or when we first met—maybe through mutual friends—but somehow our paths crossed at just the right time. We started talking in October of 2019 and met in person that November. At first, neither of us expected anything serious, but the more time we spent together, the more we realized something special was growing. We even spent New Year’s Eve of 2019 together—before we were officially a couple. On January 12, 2020, we made it official. Shortly after, the world shut down during COVID, which meant we spent a lot of time together early in our relationship. Instead of pushing us apart, it brought us even closer and helped us grow into best friends. Since then, we’ve made so many memories—traveling to different states, spending time with family, and going to as many country concerts as we can. In 2022 we got our own apartment, and in 2024 we welcomed a puppy into our lives. One of our favorite traditions has always been going to Liberty Ridge for fall pictures, so it was only fitting that on October 12, 2024, in one of the places that means the most to us, we got engaged. We feel incredibly lucky our paths crossed, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives growing, dreaming, and building our future side by side.
