FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jon Dixon and McKayla Tully
If you have any questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to the maid of honor, Courteney, at 602-370-3078. The mother of the Bride, Heidi, will also be available at 602-397-0112. Thank you!
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Please wear formal attire. For men, this includes a suit or a tuxedo. For women, this includes long gowns. Please refrain from wearing clothing above the knee, jeans, tennis shoes, etc. Ladies, the ceremony is on grass, but heel protectors can be purchased from Amazon to prevent sinking in :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Although we would love to accommodate dates for each of our guests, we are unfortunately limited to a specific guest count. Please adhere to the number of seats reserved for your party, as indicated in your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love all of your children, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate all of our guests' kids and are restricting our invite list to children of the family. Please adhere to the number of seats allotted for your party in your invitation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Guests will be able to park at the Forest Highlands Golf Club, addressed on your invitation. Shuttles will transfer guests to and from the ceremony site.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for their own transportation to the ceremony. As we want to ensure the safety of all of our guests, shuttles will be provided to transfer guests back to select hotels (Courtyard by Marriott Flagstaff or SpringHill Suites by Marriott Flagstaff) following the reception. Please make plans to retrieve your cars in the morning if this is the option you choose.

Question

What if I arrive late to the ceremony?

Answer

We understand things happen! Unfortunately, no shuttles will be provided to the ceremony site after the bridal party departs, as we don't want interruptions during the ceremony, and guests will be unable to drive themselves to the ceremony site. Please relax in the clubhouse and we will bring the party to you immediately following the ceremony! :)

Question

What is the policy on phone use at the wedding?

Answer

Prior to the ceremony start, guests are welcome to take photos and videos of the ceremony site. Once the ceremony begins, however, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced (no photos of the bride and groom during the ceremony please). Guests are welcome to use their phones as they please during the cocktail hour and reception, provided that they are silenced. We promise all photos and videos of the ceremony will be sent to you, so please do not be tempted to sneak a photo during that time. Thank you! :)
