A Whirlwind Romance!

We went to church together for a couple years, but never served in the same areas. I (Heather) first noticed Dugan in July while we were serving together in VBS. I didn't say anything to anyone because I wasn't sure exactly what to think. On September 2, 2018, a friend and I were walking out of church together. She told me someone had his eye on me...little did I know, Dugan had noticed me as well. We went on our first date the next day and literally spent all day together. We have spent time getting to know each other better every day since that first date.

Yes, just a short three weeks later! Dugan and I went to St. Augustine to celebrate his birthday. We had a nice dinner on the balcony of O.C. White's and then went on a carriage ride through the city. At the second of the love trees on the tour, he asked me to marry him. I said "Yes," and our next stop was to buy a ring.
