MacKenzie is McKaela's older sister and one of the coolest people you'll ever meet, she even rides a motor cycle! MacKenzie has been there to share the best music to rock out to on your road trip, the best (aka most terrifying) horror movie/haunted house/true crime series recommendations, and always giving you a stomach ache from laughter! She has always pushed McKaela to be the best, as an honest critic, giving much needed, realistic guidance as a street savvy role model, and a loving older sister. MacKenzie was there the first time Reid was brought home to meet the family and she was there to skydive right along side Reid and McKaela in the first couple months of dating. We are overjoyed and blessed to have her next to us on our day!
Jana Linde

Jana was McKaela's college roommate, and host stay partner for choir tour, at the University of Jamestown (UJ.) Jana also is a close friend of both McKaela and Reid. Jana is always there to give a huge hug and to put a smile on your face. She has been there, front and center, for Reid and McKaela's friendship and more recently relationship. Jana was by our side during almost all, if not all, our horrible movie nights, music ensemble tours and concerts, laughter around the Reiland, and even our trio trip to London! It is hard to say who could know the two of us better than her! Thank you Jana for being a huge part of our friendship, relationship, and marriage journey! We can't wait to celebrate with you.
Alexis Kopperud

Alexis was another college roommate of McKaela's and friend of McKaela and Reid through their time at UJ. Alexis is not just one of the best listeners I know and always down to share a good conversation but she also is the best dancer we know! Alexis and McKaela spent many hours dancing for our workouts together at the gym, and then eating flaming hot Cheetos and drinking americanos in the dorm. Alexis is unapologetically fearless and someone who always makes those around her feel like their most confident and limitless self. We cannot wait to get down on the dance floor with you at the reception and having you stand by us during our ceremony! Thank you Alexis for your killer moves and for being a part of our day.
Sydney Holte

Sydney Holte is a great friend and a fellow choir alumna of both McKaela and Reid. We remember many nights of laughter at the UJ dining center and long study sessions for music history. Post graduation Sydney was always such a welcome sight in Bismarck when she visited from Hazen! We were blessed to have Sydney close to us for a while after college to share dinner, great wine, long walks, and great conversation with! Sydney is an amazing positive presence with an enormous talent for caring for all around her, as well as unendingly funny! We are thankful to not only have her in our bridal party but also for her and her new husband Jacoby to share their musical gifts during the ceremony! Thank you Sydney!
Hannah Heilman

Hannah was, arguably, McKaela's first friend at UJ! Like all great friendships start, we were on our way to an orientation event and bonded over our shared mission of eating all the great free food. Hannah has a God given gift of always being endlessly there for her friends. Whether we needed a place to study off campus, a fun night off from class, someplace to store all your dorm stuff since you were leaving for a European choir tour the day after graduation, to be picked up at odd hours before/after said choir tour, or a roommate when you were scared and moving farther away from home to start graduate school, Hannah was there! We are so lucky to have your bubbly and ever ready presence on our big day. Thank you and we can't wait to share the day with you!
Taylor Heinzen

Taylor was one of McKaela's freshman orientation leaders at UJ and the reason Hannah may have a competitor for first friend at college. Taylor is the definition of going above and beyond and McKaela couldn't have imagined UJ without her. Countless days and nights were spent in Taylor's dorm room sharing all categories of of struggles but Taylor was always there to uplift successes. Bibles studies, snow days, youtube videos, and surprise "first birthday away from home" cupcakes with Taylor and her suite-mates. Taylor was a good friend to Reid and McKaela as well as a fellow music major and co-worker to Reid. Post college Taylor, her husband Bob, and their two kids have been the consistent friendly faces that introduced us to our church and the ins and outs of Bismarck/Mandan. Thank you!!
Alex Aguilar

Alex is my soon to be brother-in-law. We met when I moved to Mandan in 2018. I was honestly a little intimidated by him when we first met but that soon changed into a great friendship. Alex is always down for a good time whether we are sinking all our shots at a local golf course (we try hard to anyway), running Mud Runs, or watching football for hours and hours on our weekly Sunday Funday during football season. Alex can always get me to crack a smile with his jokes and sense of humor. I'm so excited to have him share this day with McKaela and I.
Tyler Leslie

Tyler and I first met freshman year at the University of Jamestown through the Character in Leadership program as well as band. After rooming together for three years at college Tyler easily became one of my great friends. Over the years we have bonded through several band tours, our mutual love for the Green Bay Packers, and lovingly poking fun at our other 3-year roommate Aaron. Whether it's been a long time or a short time apart Tyler is always right there to pick up where we left off. McKaela and I are so thankful to have him standing by us for our big day.
Nathan Kopperud

Nate was a fellow music major along with me at the University of Jamestown. Though I don't remember where I met him for the first time I do remember being intimidated by not only his musical prowess but his dark sense of humor and heavy sarcasm. Little did I know that these were the things that I would grow to love about Nate and share with him. After rooming together for only a semester during junior year Nate quickly became a great friend of mine. We bonded over our shared love of sarcasm, choir tours, and musical endeavors. Nate, along with his wife Alexis, have been fantastic friends to us and McKaela and I are so thankful for their presence alongside us for our wedding.
Jacoby Holte

Jacoby was another fellow music major with me at the University of Jamestown. He served as a great resource and great friend while I navigated life and being a music major in my first couple years at college and continues to do that to this day. Jacoby and I bonded over our eerily similar sense of humor, choir tours, and (if you ask our friends) our relentless jokes often times at their expense. Despite living quite far away I know that Jacoby will always be willing to offer advice, listen, or make me laugh when we are together. McKaela and I are so happy to share this day Jacoby and his wife, Sydney.
Aaron Paulson

As a fellow music major, trombone player, and a roommate for three years Aaron and I quickly became great friends from the start in college. Over the years we grew close through several music ensembles, band and choir tours, and random runs to eat Chinese food. Though he hides it well behind his Grumpy Cat face (ask him to see it; it's pretty spot on) Aaron always has a smile to share and never ceases to make me laugh. Whether we were locking down the low brass section in band for 4 years or having long roommate talks in Prentice, Aaron has consistently been a great friend to me and both McKaela and I are excited to have him be by our sides as we get married.
