We're Getting Married

The day itself was a series of unforseen events, from a malfunctioning dishwasher that led to a partially flooded kitchen, a massive failed hair attempt, last minute outfits for both, missed meals and a lot of busy last minute errands. Yet behind the scenes, D had tirelessly worked to arrange a beautiful surprise that was complete with gathering both sets of best friends together to celebrate bringing in the New Year newly engaged before heading out to an event that he was hosting. D had a plan in his head of how he planned to propose and had taken time to craft the right moment so that the friends could be in the same room to enjoy the moment. Yet, when the moment actually came him and Shanice were alone in the middle of the kitchen when he got down on one knee and asked "Will You Marry Me?" After moments of Shanice questioning if he was serious and stating "you better not be kidding", reality sunk in. To this very day they still laugh because Shanice's response was "Wow, uh yessss its so shiny followed by a ton of tears!" Though the proposal may not have gone the way it was rehearsed it was an absolutely perfect and an amazing way to spend New Years Eve 2018. Shanice nor D would change any moment of that night.
