We're Getting Married!

Brittany: In college, I got invited to a party one night after a class he and I both had together. I needed a ride because my car wouldn't make it up to the cabin. He offered me a ride. We ended up sitting on the porch talking all night. From there, we became inseparable. After college I worked in Petersburg, WV for 3 years, and then got offered a job in Oakland, MD for the year after that, only seeing Jeremy on the weekends. In 2015 I got offered the same position I had but in Elkins, where Jeremy was. We moved in together, got a dog named Timber, and later bought a house. All my dreams came true, except for marrying my best friend. On Dec 10, 2017, Jeremy and I wanted to go cut a Christmas tree. We planned on going to a local tree farm, but they were closed, so instead, while it was pouring the snow, we drove over to Maysville (1.5 hours away) to go to a tree farm owned by a old coworker. We walked around for almost an hour looking at all the different trees and trying to decide on one. We finally narrowed it down to 2 trees. I was cold and told Jeremy, "Just cut one." he got down on his knee with the saw and said "are you sure this is the one? the one you cant live without?" Well I wasn't, so I went down to look at the other tree. I liked it better so I yelled for him to come down. He came down and once again got down on one knee and said "are you sure this is the one?" I said "yes, cut it" and he pulled out a ring. I cant wait to spend forever with him. Jeremy: Brittany and I met in college. We hung out at a party and I found out she liked to hunt and fish. We had a lot in common and enjoyed spending time together. Our first real date was to laurel fork where I taught her how to catch trout. We spent our first few years together only seeing each other on weekends. I've known for a long time that I wanted to marry her because she is my best friend and I cant imagine life without her. After moving in together and settling down, I decided to pop the question.
