We quite LITERALLY ran into each other. I was a freshman and Alex was a sophomore at the time. We unknowingly had the same high school lunch period. Within a week of bumping into each other in the cafeteria we started dating... well, after Alex sent me this Facebook message, “Are you the cute girl that bumped into me in the cafeteria?” Our first date was at the movies, and lucky us that Jordan was the only licensed driver with a car at the time. I always think about how our paths crossed when I was only 14 years old, and here we are nearly 9 years later, engaged. -M
What I thought would be a quick trip to Los Angeles ended up being one of my favorite memories with Alex. He planned out every moment of this mini vacation. I was clueless the whole time (I was really excited for Halloween-themed Disneyland toward the end of our trip). The day before we headed to Disneyland, Alex drove us to El Matador beach in Malibu. We were watching the sun set when he proposed. He stuttered through the whole proposal, and I could tell there was so much more he wanted to say. I can't wait to marry my best friend. -M
