Molly and Ethan met during college through their time serving with Young Life and working summers at Laity Lodge Youth Camp. Although they enjoyed each other's company and loved laughing together, neither of them were interested in anything more than friendship. When they were both hired as interns for LLYC after graduating from Texas A&M, Ethan quickly developed feelings for Molly, but Molly insisted that they were just friends. They spent hours and hours traveling together for work that year. The time spent driving all over Texas talking and getting to know each other on a deeper level created a bond that both of them knew was special. It wasn't until a couple years later, when they were back at camp again, that Molly admitted to herself, and to Ethan, that she had developed feelings for him. After spending the summer reconnecting, Molly asked him to take her on a date. They quickly fell in love and stopped telling themselves (and everyone else) they were just friends. After two years together, Ethan proposed to Molly on May 27, 2023 in Kerrville, Texas, where they first grew their special connection as interns five years earlier. Now they can't wait to celebrate their first day of marriage with their friends and family!
