Men: While suits are recommended for cocktail attire, I suggest a nice dress shirt with slacks. Let’s be real, the jackets won't last in July! I recommend being creative with color, and you can also wear a tie and/or vest to elevate the look. Please avoid jeans, polo shirts, or too casual of button-ups. Women: Cocktail attire is less formal than Black Tie and more formal and colorful than Semi-formal. Enjoy wearing a fancy dress; maybe skip the floor-length beaded gown or a micro skirt. A pantsuit can also be elevated with color, jewelry, and cute shoes! Check out this article and my vision boards for more inspiration! https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire
While we would love to have them, unfortunately, if they were not on the RSVP, there will not be a chair or food prepared for them.
As long as they are listed by name on the RSVP, there will be seat for them!
Scott and I are still working on the details! It will also be extremely helpful to get an idea of how many guest are looking to stay the night so we know how many rooms we should block. Please indicate if you have an interest in a nearby hotel in the RSVP questionnaire section. We will be adding more information on our travel page when the time comes nearer.
