Almost four years ago, we met during a season of change in both of their lives. Both having recently started new jobs, Christina as a nurse and Mark as a technician. Neither of us new where a dating app conversation would lead, but after weeks of messaging, we met for sushi for on our first date. What began as a simple dinner quickly turned into something much more meaningful. From the beginning, there was a mutual appreciation that we each had built a life of our own outside of the other, and rather than looking for someone to complete the other, we were looking for someone to share life's adventures with. Through career milestones, family moments, travels, challenges, and countless laughs, we have built a relationship rooted in friendship, respect, and unwavering support. One of our yearly traditions began early in our relationship: trading crowded Valentine's Day plans for an annual ski trip together. Year after year, those trips became a time to disconnect from everyday life, enjoy the mountains, and make memories together. During our most recent ski trip, Mark turned our favorite tradition into an unforgettable moment when he asked Christina to marry him. We are excited to continue creating new traditions, embracing new adventures, and celebrating this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
