The attire for the evening is Black Tie Optional. With this, we recommend that women wear a formal dress and men have the option to wear a tuxedo or formal suit and tie. We are excited to be looking our best, and invite you to do the same!
We recommend that guests arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony, as the wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. Following the ceremony, there will be an approximate 2-hour break to allow time to travel back to downtown and refresh before cocktail hour begins at 5:00!
To travel to and from the venue, you will need your own method of transportation. However, we have chosen a hotel block that is within walking distance from the venue for an easy commute home from the wedding reception at The Rice! There will also be complimentary valet for those who choose to drive to the reception venue. Plenty of parking is available at Mary Queen for the ceremony.
If you reserved your room as part of the room block at the Hyatt Place Downtown, check-in begins at 3:00pm and checkout is at 12:00pm. If you would like to check in sooner, please contact the hotel directly!
