A complimentary shuttle will provide round trip transportation from the Omni Hotel. All wedding guests can use the shuttle, not just those staying at the Omni. Depart Omni --> Mount Ida: *Picks up on Ridge McIntire Rd* 3:30pm Depart Mount Ida --> Omni: 8:30pm & 10:40pm

Detailed directions to the venue

Please follow the directions below rather than using GPS. GPS does not yet provide a reliable route to the property and will take you down private farm roads, specifically Plain Dealing Farm! Directions from Route 64: • Take exit 121 Scottsville/Charlottesville • Head toward Scottsville onto Route 20 South (travel approx. 6-7 miles) • Turn left onto Carter Mountain Road • Take an immediate right onto Secretarys Road (travel approx. 3 miles until you reach a 4-way stop) • At 4-way stop turn right onto Blenheim Road (travel approx. 2.5-3 miles) • When you arrive to the black and gold “The Lodge” sign on the left, turn left onto Moonlight Drive through the open iron gates • Follow Moonlight Drive until you reach the Lodge Note: If you have mistakenly passed the entrance to the Lodge and come to a one-lane bridge, you have gone too far

We highly recommend staying here if you plan to spend time visiting the local wineries, breweries or attractions. Even better, our shuttle will provide round trip transportation from this hotel! Be aware...

Due to the location of the venue, Ubers/Lyfts may not be readily available to transport you back to your accommodations following the reception. Please schedule something ahead of time if you do not plan to drive yourself home (taxi list below). You are also welcome to use our shuttle that will drop off at the Omni Charlottesville hotel and can call an Uber/Lyft from there if staying elsewhere in Charlottesville.
