They say some of the best things in life begin when you least expect them and that is exactly how our story started. In the summer of 2015, during our very first year of college in Grand Junction, Colorado, we met. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into something neither of us saw coming: an instant, effortless friendship. From late-night talks and spontaneous adventures we became inseparable. Before we knew it, we were best friends. In 2016, we packed up and moved to Alaska for our first big adventure together. While it was a brand-new experience for one of us, it was a return home for the other. Seeing it through each other’s eyes helped us grow and adjust to a new chapter side by side. Then in 2017, we made our way down to Southern California and it’s been home ever since. Over the years, this is where we’ve built our life together. We’ve grown up here. We’ve figured out careers, responsibilities, dreams, disappointments, and milestones hand in hand. The last ten years have shaped us into the adults we are today. We’ve learned how to navigate life as a team, how to encourage each other to be better, and how to stand steady when life feels uncertain. Every chapter has brought us closer. At the heart of it all, we are still those two best friends who met in the summer of 2015. We still laugh at the same inside jokes. We still dream big.
