FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP Deadline?

Answer

We suggest RSVPing as soon as possible. But you must RSVP by May 1, 2024.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a cocktail attire dress code for our day. This means between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable. For an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a button-up and dress pants (suit and tie optional) while women wear a cocktail dress. This means no jeans, shorts, sneakers, or hats. We kindly ask you to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride. Whites, ivories, and creams.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all the children of our friends and family, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children not specifically listed on the invitation. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is a parking lot on the venue property for event parking, but please try to carpool accordingly to ensure we have enough parking for all. There will be security showing you where to park. Please do not park in restaurant parking, as the restaurant is open for business.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside, while we will transfer indoors for the reception.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

There will be drinks, appetizers, and a full sit-down meal. So come hungry!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the important moments and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to capture as many photos as you want! And make sure to tag us!

Question

Will transportation be provided to/from the hotel?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided to/from the hotel, so if you do plan on drinking make sure you have a designated driver or are ready to get an Uber/Lyft.
