A few kids will be there, such as our own, however; We had to gut the guest list pretty significantly due to COVID. For the majority of guests, invitations are extended to singles or couples, not children. We want this to be your night off to get drunk and celebrate with us! So try to book grandma for the night...
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. Again, the guest list is very limited due to COVID, so we want to reserve spots for people who are close to us.
The wedding and reception will be mostly outdoors at a barn on a ranch. Nothing too fancy, but getting dressed up is half the fun! Let's call it "dressy casual." Yes, we know that's an oxymoron, but we suggest men wear a nice pair of slacks and a dress shirt (with or without a tie). For the ladies, a simple, festive dress is a great choice.
Coronavirus. COVID19. You suck. Yes, we're stressed about it! But for now, we're taking things one day at a time. We've had to postpone the wedding 3 times and navigate the challenges presented with the venue and vendors. So as of today, the wedding (a much smaller wedding than initially planned) is scheduled to happen on 04/17/2021. We'll notify you if any plans change.
YES! Casino Morongo is about 15 minutes away. We have a room block at the Morongo Casino Resort for Friday (4/16) and Saturday (4/17) nights. The hotel is offering discounted rooms to our wedding guests. The discounted rate for Friday is $175 and the discounted rate for Saturday is $199. This is where we are staying and plan to continue the celebration after the wedding!
Nope. Uber and Lyft ride shares are available, and happen to be our preferred method of transportation. The venue has plenty of self-parking, free of charge. It's a short inclined walk from the parking lot to the ceremony/reception site. For our older loved ones, or lazy-ass friends, golf carts will be operating to transport individuals from the parking lot to the ceremony location.
