FAQs

Answers to all your burning questions - we hope. If you have any other questions about the wedding, feel free to reach out to Abby at (618)698-9000 !
Question

Can I bring a plus one / kids?

Answer

In order to celebrate our special day with all of our loved ones, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on the invitation. If you received a plus one it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card! For those with kids, think of it as date night! If you need help finding a babysitter, feel free to contact Brandon at (417)551-3663.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

There's never been a better time to wear the fancy outfit you've been holding onto. We ask that guests wear cocktail attire if they feel comfortable, but if you're not comfortable being that formal, wear the most formal outfit *you are comfortable in*. Recommended: Cocktail-formal! That could be dress pants and a button-up shirt, a nice evening gown, or fancy trousers and a blouse. Black and navy are always great, but wear whatever color you prefer - our wedding colors are olive green and burnt orange. But please, don't wear white as your primary color! Also Good: Khaki dress pants, button-ups or polos, church clothes, flowing shirts and pants. Please Do Not Wear: Jeans, Tt-shirts, cargo pants, flip-flops.

Question

is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be inside, at the same place. It may be a little untraditional, but you will find your assigned table before the ceremony, so that you can leave your belongings at the table, and then will be able to pick a seat for the ceremony !

Question

Will I be able to take pictures?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that all guests will be asked to silence and put away phones and other devices, so our guests can be 100% present with us during this time. But don't worry! Our talented photographers will be getting all the best shots. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want, and we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible!

Question

when should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive *at least* 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seats. The ceremony will start at 4:00, and late arrivals will have to watch from a balcony instead of seated with everyone else! After the ceremony, come and go as you please.

Question

where should I park?

Answer

The venue has a large parking lot attached to the building, so parking will not be an issue. However, please plan to Uber or arrange for other transportation if you are drinking, as we cannot leave cars parked overnight at the venue!

Question

what's the alcohol situation like?

Answer

We will use a drink-ticket system that will provide the guests with a certain number of free drinks! Once the tickets run out, the bar will continue to serve you, but you'll have to pay with cash.

Question

I RSVP'd but I can't make it anymore, what should I do?

Answer

Please contact us immediately if there is any change or suspected change to your RSVP. With that said, please only RSVP when you are certain you will be attending to avoid any last minute changes!

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

Very important question! We will be eating from two local food trucks: Chef Nelly's Peruvian and Galley Grill. We will pay for your meal! Our menus will be posted in this Answer at a future date.
