Best Man
Coburn is the big brother of the groom. He lives in Garner, NC with his wife Melissa and their four children, Cobie, Adelyn, Lilah, and Leighton. Adam has always looked up to him. They bond over sports, business, philosophy, and Adam is fortunate to have him as a mentor. In more recent years they have enjoyed trips to Wyoming, spending time in nature, and distancing themselves from the modern world. Coburn is also a runner and when they're together for holidays they enjoy going on jogs and talking about family and life.
Dani
Maid of Honor
Dani and Steph have been friends since they were 14 years old running track and cross country together. Laughing and sharing head phones on the bus. They have remained best friends through life going on adventures. They hiked the Inca trail to Machu Picchu, an adventure they’ll never forget. They enjoy paddle boarding, biking, and exploring plant shops. They have shared a passion for teaching, and advocating for students. Dani specializes in teaching English. Dani has always been there through laughter and hard times. I’m so happy to have her by my side for this big occasion.
Aida

Daughter of the Groom Aida can be found horseback riding or playing softball! She loves the beach and shopping! We love to cuddle up to watch a good show like Gilmore Girls or Grey’s Anatomy. Aida has a silly side and if you’re lucky enough you get to see it come out. We are excited to become a family 🤍

Son of the Groom Lucas loves soccer and gaming! He loves exploring nature and most recently enjoyed fishing with his uncle and cousin! He can talk to anyone. He makes us laugh and best of all he has such a kind heart. Oh and amazing freckles. He is excited to stand by his dad’s side.

Big Sister to the Bride Shannon is an amazing mom, wife, and sister! In big sister fashion she’s the family manager, always thinking ahead to plan family vacations to make memories together. We love to go on hikes, watch scary movies and share a love of Harry Potter! I know I can always call on Shannon whenever I need her 💚
Megan

Middle Sister and life long best friend. Megan and Steph were attached at the hip as girls and often mistaken as twins. They have the best memories from growing up and sharing a room together. They both love art and nature, their friendship has only grown in adulthood. They love to bring up random old memories and laugh together. I need my Irish twin by my side.
Ian
Groomsman
Ian and Adam have known each other since high school but it was in their 20s that they became really close friends. They worked together for several years but it was through their mutual love of live music that they bonded. Over the years through several moves to different states they always find a way to make time for each other and attend shows. Ian now lives in Nashville, TN but he's a dear friend who shows up for his tribe. To give you an idea of the kind of friend he is, he got up before sunrise on vacation in Panama City to come see Adam off at the start of his Iron Man.
EJ

Ej lives in Raleigh with her husband Mike and her little son Griffin. Ej is an amazing nurse and friend! One of Steph’s best friends since high school! After college, they made the big decision to leave NY and move to Raleigh, NC together. Ej for nursing, and Steph for teaching. They started off only having each other and over the years gained a great group of friends. Ej and Steph never forget the nights with a bottle of wine, the bachelorette , and a puzzle! They’re lives look very different these days but their friendship is forever 💜
Brian

Brian is the little brother Adam never had. He lives in Durham, NC with his girlfriend Jenn and their pup, Hazel. They became friends in high school and have always been close. Brian lived abroad for several years as a professional soccer player before coming back to NC. Over the years despite distance Brian has always been there for Adam. He shows up when it matters most and even after brief lulls in communication they pick things up and don't skip a beat.
Barbara

Barbara lives in NY with her husband Brett, little girl Rowan and son Ashton. Barb and Steph ran cross country and track and field together at Cortland University where they shared many running miles and memories together. They experienced an amazing trip to Iceland where they swam in hot springs, hiked a glacier, and saw the northern lights. A trip of a life time with a friend of a life time! I am so thankful for Barbara to make the trip down from NY to be with me on this special day!
Justin
Groomsman
Justin is Adam's oldest friend. They have known each other since they were small boys. Justin is like a brother to Adam and is affectionately referred to as “Buzz”, a nickname his father gave him when he was a child. Justin lives in Charlotte with his wife Lori and their two sons Crosby and Keegan, along with their dog Franny. Justin is an alumnus of UNC and the in-state rivalry with NC State has been a fun anchor in their relationship for many years. As kids they were highly competitive with each other in everything they did. Justin’s father Tom coached them in baseball and they reminisce often on those seemingly simpler times. They speak frequently and when sports aren’t at the forefront they enjoy discussing life, legacy, and fatherhood.
