We're getting married...September 18th!

Update, 8.8.20: Dear family and friends: Our original wedding venue, The Old Mill Inn, is sadly not able to accommodate outdoor wedding receptions at the current time. We've made the difficult decision to proceed with our wedding, but a different venue and on a different date. We hope that you can join us on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER, 18, 2020 at the SPRING LAKE MANOR, in Spring Lake, New Jersey. All events - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - will take place at the venue, and guests are asked to arrive by 4:15 for our 4:30 ceremony. Those in need of overnight accommodations will be able to reserve rooms at the iconic Hewitt Wellington in Spring Lake. Please mention on names, and ask for *Matthew* when booking, as he can provide a discounted rate. Please just let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to attend. Devin and a few of his high school friends were catching up over drinks at the Famished Frog in Morristown. Kristin was headed there with some coworkers from Billy and Madeline's Red Room, in celebration of one of their birthdays. Kristin arrived ahead of her friends, and she and Devin locked eyes from across the bar. A while later, one of Kristin's older coworkers (the birthday girl), went over to see if any of the guys were single. Devin thought she was Kristin's mother, and decided that was just a little too weird. When he and his friends went to leave the bar a bit later, Kristin stopped Devin from leaving, and more or less made him have a beer with her. She explained the coworker was in fact, NOT her mother. They realized then that they were both drinking the same beer (Brooklyn Summer Ale), and after talking the rest of the night, saw that they had even more in common.

Devin and Kristin planned a trip down to Florida to visit Kristin's grandmother and family. One evening, they decided to visit their favorite spot on Sanibel Island, near lighthouse beach. Devin got down on one knee, and the rest is history.
