This is a local gem of an art museum in downtown Utica.

Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute

Cooperstown is about an hour away from the Colgate Inn (50 minutes from Utica). Attractions include the National Baseball Hall of Fame,  Farmers Museum, Fly Creek Cider Mill, Glimmerglass State Park, and Ommegang Brewery.

For anyone who might be flying into Syracuse, Skaneateles is a fun day trip. It's a lakeside village with beautiful views, shopping and restaurants.
