Question

When/how will I be able to RSVP?

Answer

You may RSVP online on our “RSVP” tab. If you do know ahead of time that you cannot make our wedding day we do ask that you let us know. However, if you are not sure you will also be able to RSVP when our formal invitations are sent out! We will miss you but we understand life happens. 🤍

How could I travel from out of town?

Answer

Wilmington is easily accessible by travel for our out-of-town guests. The closest airport is the Philadelphia Internation Airport which is 21 miles away from the hotel approx. 25-45 minutes depending on traffic. If you are traveling from the Northeast you also can easily access Wilmington by train. The Wilmington Amtrak station is located 1 mile away from the hotels.

What is the attire/theme of your wedding?

Answer

We are excited to announce that we will be having a black tie/garden party themed wedding! Our attire is Black-tie Optional which includes floor-length gowns, tuxes with black neckties or bowties but not limited to sophisticated/below the knee cocktail dresses or dark colored suits. Please refrain from wearing black gowns/dresses and obviously white lol. We do hope our wedding day is a chance for you all to have fun with your attire and get dressed up!

Where can I find the hotel bookings?

Answer

The hotel bookings can be found on the "Travel" tab. Please use the links provided on our website to access our discounted rates. You can also call the hotel directly to book using "McGloin-Iammatteo Wedding block." Hyatt hotel cut off date is March 30th and The Westin cut off date is April 9th.

Which hotel should I stay at?

Answer

Both the Hyatt and Westin are within a 1 minute walking distance of each other. The hotels are located along the Riverfront in Wilmington with plenty of restaurants, bars, and attractions nearby.

How far are the hotels from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our hotels, ceremony, and reception are located within close proximity to each other about 10-20 minutes away.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors at St. Joseph's on the Brandywine. We plan to have our cocktail hour outside and the reception will take place within a tent.
